Whispers- 1 Minute Film- Student Film

BTEC Creative Media Production Level 3 Year 2

This was a task that followed the brief from the 1 minute film awards. We were given 6 starter sentences that we could follow, so I chose one that was called 'Found the off switch.' Instead of a literal switch, the switch was mentally as she's stuck inside a nightmare. It begins with the realisation that the actress isn't in real life; that she's in some sort of 'parallel universe.' The room we shot it in was the right light. We needed it dark but with one main light source, being the window, to represent freedom and escapism. I directed, filmed and edited it.
