Ident for Music Channel - AFTER EFFECTS

We were tasked with creating both an Ident and Bumper for a channel of our choice. I decided to create a Folk/Indie music channel. I created a doodle-like video, using the pen tool and ink drop effects on Adobe After Effects.  For the Ident, I created a ‘doodle-like’ video, using the pen tool and adding in ink drop effects that were done in Adobe After Effects. With the pen tool, I drew around the person or object on each frame per second, which created a moving effect. Although time consuming, it created a very sophisticated look which I am pleased with. The pen tool has been incredibly popular with music videos- a great example is Justin Bieber's What Do You Mean?

The demographic for the Channel is 18-34 year olds and both genders. The Marital Status is mainly single due to the strong theme of ‘living life to the fullest.’ Using the Standard Occupational Theory, the audience for the channel is Between B and C2. This is higher up the scale aiming at more ‘hipster folk.’ Adverts such as 2004 Victoria Secret featured folk music legend, Bob Dylan. This is using folk music to match with the class of the buyers of Victoria Secret which fits in with the demographic. To add, Hozier’s album cover features an old style collage, which is aimed at 18-34 year olds (or possibly even older.) I felt like the art theme throughout would be more appreciated from these age groups.
